ASUN First Team All-Conference … ASUN Player of the Week (Nov.2) … Played in all 12 events with a 74.48 scoring average … Nielsen is the second-ranked player in the ASUN at 177th in the Golfstat rankings … She finished in top 15 six times this season … Carded season-low rounds of 3-under par 69 in the third round of the Johnie Imes Invitational and Ladies Fall Intercollegiate Invitational … Best finish of the season came at the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate Invitational where she finished second with rounds of 77-69 for a 2-over par total of 146 … The captain had career-low 54-hole total scores of 4-over par 220 at the Johnie Imes Invitational and Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic … Closed out her career with a 8-over par total of 224 finishing tied for 54^th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
 
2016-17:  ASUN Second Team Conference  ...  Played in nine tournaments and was fourth on the team with a 76.56 scoring average … Shot rounds of 73-75-77=225 (+9) to tie for 28^th at the Palmetto Intercollegiate …  Her top finish was at the 3M Augusta Invitational with rounds of 77-75-75 for a total of 11-over par 227 to finish tied for 26^th …  Carded her season-low round of 1-over par 73 four times this season … Finished 20^th at the ASUN Championships with rounds of 80-76-80=236 (+17).

2015-16:  Played in four tournaments and recorded an 81.67 scoring average . . . Posted a season-best finish at the Fall  Invitational after tying for 65th . . . Carded rounds of 84-77-71 for an 8-over total 224 . . . Second round 2-over par 74 at the Lady Paladin Invitational marked season-low 18-hole score.

2014-15: Named the 2015 Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year as well as to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team … Earned Atlantic Sun Conference Golfer of the Week honors on Feb. 18, 2015 … Registered the lowest scoring average of all A-Sun freshman with a 76.06 average in 11 tournaments … Posted four top-20 finishes, including one top-10 finish … Best finish of the season came in a head-to-head tournament against Columbia as she tied for third with a six-over 78 … Her best showing of the season came at the Seminole Match Up with rounds of 76-74-70 for a season-low four-over par total of 220 and a tie for 14th place … Also finished in a tie for 14th at the Atlantic Sun Championship with a 12-over par score of 228 … Placed in a tie for 18th at the Rebel Intercollegiate with a five-over par total of 221 … Carded her low 18-hole score with a two-under par 70 in the third round of the Seminole Match Up … Shot par or better on three occasions during her rookie campaign.

PREP CAREER: A graduate from Sorø Akademis skole in Denmark, Nielsen has significant experience playing in numerous international tournaments, including World Junior Golf Series (WJGS) events throughout Europe and in the United States as well as competing as a member of the Danish national team ... Highlights of Nielsen's junior career include a win at the 2008 Danish Girls Championships and a fifth place finish at the 2009 Danish Championships ... Defeated former Georgia State standout Charlotte Lorentzen in the quarterfinals for the 2010 Danish Championships ... Placed second in the Belgium International Junior Open in 2011.
