Former Kennesaw State golfer Laura Lindsey begins her third year on the Kennesaw State golf coaching staff after graduating in 2009 with a degree in professional sales.

Lindsey was a two-year letterwinner for the Owls from 2007-2009 and also played for two seasons at Daytona State College before donning the Black and Gold.

While at Daytona State, Lindsey received the team leadership award and was a member of the squad that captured 2nd place at the 2006 NJCAA National Championship.

After transferring to Kennesaw State in the fall of 2007, Lindsey excelled for the Owls as she set the all-time scoring record for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons and holds the all-time win/loss records for Kennesaw State.

Named team Most Valuable Player for the 2007-08 season, she was also named team captain for the 2008-09 campaign. After completing her senior season, Lindsey was selected as the recipient of the coaches award.

Lindsey also excelled academically for the Owls as she was a two-time selection to the Atlantic Sun Conference Academic All-Conference Team. Also during her senior season, she helped lead the Owls to the highest women’s team GPA at Kennesaw State. Lindsey will pursue a master degree in Sport Administration beginning this fall.
