Competed in cross country and track and field for Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga… Finished first at the Gwinnett County Championship with a time of 18:41.02 in the 5k… Made it to the Nike Team Nationals in cross country during the 2008 season… Was part of the All-American 4x800 team that competed at Nike Track Nationals… Ran a personal record in the 1,600 meters at the Georgia High School Association Girl’s State Championships, finishing 10th in 5:14.71.
