2009 Season
Competed in seven meets… Finished in ninth place at the season opener at the JSU CC Opener with a time of 12:12 in the 2k… Competed at the UTC Invitational and finished 15th with a time of 12:53 in the 2k… Placed ninth at the KSU Invitational… Completed the 5k at the ASUN Championships with a time of 20:02 and finished 52nd.
 
2008 Season
Built on her strong first year as a cross country competitor by running in all seven meets and scoring in five of them…Recorded her best finish and 3k time in the season-opening Jacksonville Invitational, where she placed 12th and came in with a time of 12:58…Completed the Walt Disney World Invitational in a time of 21:01…Time of 20:42 in the Atlantic Sun Championship was her best on the season in a 5k meet.

2007 Season
Competed in seven races for the Owls during the 2007 season...Turned in her season best time at the Auburn Tiger Invitational, where she completed the 5k course in 19:52...Had her best finish of the season in the 3k meet at the JSU Opener, taking 11th place with a time of 12:03...Completed the 5k at the Mercer Atlanta Invitational in 22:23, good for 13th place...Posted a time of 19:35 to place 13th at the JSU Foothills Invite...Ran the 5k at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic in 20:31...Came in 32nd at the GSU Invitational, posting a time of 21:11...Completed the 5k at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship with a time of 20:39.

Prep Career
Comes to Kennesaw State from Van Buren HS in Van Buren, Arkansas, where she competed in both cross country and track...during high school was named to the All-Star team in her county and was an All-State runner in 2005...Lorena was also a track athlete for the Owls before joining the cross country team...She competed in both long and mid-distance events.

Born Lorena Noel Jaime in Decatur, Ga....Is the daughter of Rafael Jaime and Mary Beth Benham...Has a twin sister named Eleste and a younger sister; Leslie, 16, as well as five brothers; Rafael, 20; Daniel, 11; Gerardo, 14; David, 12; Ricky, 13…Attended University of Arkansas before joining the Owls…Is majoring in International Business.
