2010 Season
Raced in six meets for the Owls during the 2010 season… Finished 42nd in her first meet at the UTC Invitational… Saw her highest placed finish at the Samford Invitational where she placed 35th in the 5k race… Saw her fastest 5k time of the season at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, running the 5k in 20:22.

Prep
Prior to attending Kennesaw State, Haley graduated from Brookwood High School in Snellville, Ga. where she participated in cross country, track and tennis… Was awarded the Amanda Riley Award for Toughness her junior season of track, an award given in memory of teammate Amanda Riley, who lost her battle with cancer… Also was named Senior MVP during the 2009 cross country season.

Personal
Born Haley Price Carson to Johnny and Cathy Carson…Has one younger sibling, Cameron …Majoring in History Education at Kennesaw State…Hopes to one day be a History teacher and coach cross country…Favorite sport outside of cross country is tennis… Favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal.

“Haley is the type of runner I like to recruit here to Kennesaw. She’s a little off the radar, but if she can come here and stay healthy and work hard, we’re very confident about her abilities.”
