2009 Season
Competed in three events during her senior year… Finished in eighth place at the Disney World Cross Country Classic in the 5k with a time of 19:09.4… Competed at the KSU Invitational and placed fifth in the 2mi. with a time of 12:25.06… Finished the season at the ASUN Championships where she finished sixth in the 5k with a time of 18:09.

2007 Season
Sutton once again proved to be a leader for the Owls as she won two races, was named A-Sun Runner of the Week twice and was named an All-Atlantic Sun Conference honoree...She opened up the season with a first place finish at the JSU Opener, getting through the 3k course in 10:53...Followed up her season-opening victory with another 1st place finish, this time at the Mercer-Atlanta Invitational 5k, where her 20:10 time propelled the Owls to a first-place overall finish at the meet ...Placed in sixth place at the GSU Invitational, running the 5k course in 19:16 to lead the Owls to a second place finish...After missing the Auburn Tiger Invitational due to injury, she returned to finish 16th at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic with a time of 18:41... Finished 6th at the Atlantic Sun Championship, running the 5k course in a time of 18:56.
2006 Season
Erin followed up a tremendous rookie campaign by earning her second consecutive All Atlantic Sun Conference honor...She placed in the top ten in every race she competed in, including four top-five finishes...Won the Mercer Invitational with a time of 20:22 and finished 2nd at the Gardner-Webb XC Duals with a time of 15:37 for the 4k race... Finished 5th at the Crimson Classic with a 5k time of 18:52, leading the Owls to a 4th place finish in the event...Finished fourth at the Furman Invitational in South Carolina with a time of 18:43 on the 5k course.
2005 Season
Had a stellar freshman year with the Owls, as she was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year on the strength of four top-four finishes in the Owls’ six races during the fall...Highest finish of the year was at the GSU Invitational in Atlanta, where she finished in 2nd place after running the 6k meet in 21:41 to help the Owls to their second of three victories that season…Selected to the All-Conference Team after placed fourth with a season-best time of 17:57 at the A-Sun Championships...An excellent student, Erin was also selected to the A-Sun All-Academic Team.
Prep Career
Was the Paulding County Champion, Region 5 Runner-up and finished 12th in the GHSA Class 5A State Championships with a time of 20:30...Was named Most Valuable Runner at East Paulding HS...Ran a 21:32 in the 2004 Clara Bowl on September 4, finishing 79th out of 449 runners…Earned two varsity letters in basketball as well…Graduated with honors, and was a member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society.
