2011 Season
Yoonis competed in six races for the Owls in 2011… She posted her best 4K time of 17:18.81 in her first collegiate race at the Belmont Opener… Her season’s best 5K time was ran at the Crimson Classic when she posted a time of 21:50.03.
Prep Career
Competed for Wheeler High School in cross country and track… Was the cross country MVP at Wheeler her junior year… First cross countryteam in Wheeler history to win the county championship…Has a personal best of 21:51.75 in the 5k… Competed in the Georgia Games Track and Field Championships in 2011, finishing second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.05… Set a personal record in the 1,500 meters of 5:02.81 at the Region III USATF JO Championship.
