Michael Pitts enters his fifth year at KSU after joining as an Athletics Communications Assistant in August 2021. He serves as the primary contact for KSU women's basketball and The Owls Fund, as well as the secondary contact for KSU football. In the summer of 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics Communications.
Pitts graduated from Kennesaw State in December 2020 with a bachelor of science in Sport Management and served as a marketing intern for KSU Athletics from August 2019 to December 2020. He previously worked gameday roles with the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons.
He lives in Locust Grove, Ga. with his wife, Allison and daughter, Lilly. He graduated from Alcovy High School in Covington, Ga. in 2015.
