Faith Starkman


Faith Starkman joined the sports medicine staff in 2016 and is in her sixth year at Kennesaw State. Her primary sport assignment is track and field
 
After graduating from Florida in 2015 with a Master of Science in applied physiology & kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training, Starkman interned with the Gators for one year, assisting with the volleyball program and spirit squad. As a graduate assistant, she worked with Fort White High School her first year and Santa Fe College the second year.
 
She is certified in certified in Graston M1 Technique, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, John’s Hopkins COVID 19 Contact Tracing course and CPR and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer Instructor. She is also trained in functional movement assessments including FMS and Fusionetics, Anatomy Trains in Structure and Function, and myofascial decompression. She is certified through the BOC while holding memberships as part of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Georgia Athletic Trainer’s Association and College Athletic Trainer’s Association.
 
Starkman graduated from Sacred Heart in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training.
 
Starkman resides in Vinings, Ga. with her husband, Daniel.
