Was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team for the second straight year...appeared in a career-high 16 games for the Lady Owls...played 49 minutes for the season...played a season-high seven minutes on three occasions at Belmont (2/3/07), versus Campbell (2/8/07), and at North Florida (2/15/07)...also had a career-high two steals at North Florida. 2005-06 Season

Katie played in seven games last season for the Owls, averaging 0.7 points and 0.6 rebounds per game...averaged 2.9 minutes per contest...appeared in back-to-back games on 12/1/04 against West Georgia and 12/4/04 against Alabama Huntsville, playing a season-high five minutes in both games...was a member of the 2004-05 Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll and the KSU President[apos]s List. Katie is a local product that came to KSU after a stellar career at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga. ...holds four all-time records for the Lady Trojans: most three-pointers in a career (86), most three-pointers in a single game (6), best career free-throw percentage (73.6), and most defensive charges taken (38)...averaged 10.3 points and 3.0 assists per game over her three-year career...garnered a place on the Atlanta Tip-Off Club Metro Team of the Month in December 2003...increased her scoring average in each of her three seasons by at least 2.0 points per games...scored 281 points and averaged 11.7 points per contest her senior year...finished her high school career with 213 assists.
