Brooke Wilhoit

Brooke Wilhoit, a former standout at East Tennessee State and a recent member of the Wofford coaching staff, has joined the Kennesaw State women's basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2010-11 season.

As a player at ETSU, Wilhoit earned Second Team Atlantic Sun Conference while finishing 12th in the nation in assists per game (5.9).  A native of Sevierville, Tenn., Wilhoit helped lead the Lady Bucs to the finals of the A-Sun Tournament during her senior season.  A WNIT berth would follow after the A-Sun Tournament, with Wilhoit scoring 18 points in her final collegiate game against Western Carolina.

Wilhoit finished her career at ETSU having played in 117 games, averaging 6.4 points, 3.4 rebound, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.

After departing ETSU, Wilhoit arrived on the bench as an assistant coach at Wofford.  While with the Terriers, Wilhoit served as the recruiting coordinator. 

Wilhoit joins Dee Dee Merriweather (Georgia State) as a former player in the Atlantic Sun Conference who is now on the KSU head coach Colby Tilley's coaching staff.
