Biography

2009 Season
Was one of only two Owls to play and start in all 51 games as a red-shirt sophomore... led the team with 172 at-bats and ended the season with a .267 batting average... led the team with 46 hits and two triples while also tallying five doubles, four homeruns and 67 total bases... had a .964 fielding percentage... was four-for-five in stolen bases... had a team high five at-bats against Bethune Cookman twice (3/11)... had two stolen bases against Indiana State (3/8)... scored two runs on four different occassions... tallied 10 multi-hit games including three hits against Florida Gulf Coast (4/4)... had a team high nine-game hitting streak that started against Boston College (3/6) through the second game of a double header against Bethune Cookman (3/11) which she totaled 16 hits... had six putouts on four different occasions... was named to the Bulldog Round Robin All-Tournament Team... was named to the Phyllis Rafter Memorial All-Tournament Team.

2007 Season
Was an Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman team selection...played in and started in all 64 games for Kennesaw State...was the only freshman to appear in every game in 2007...led the conference in plate appearances and at-bats...was second in the A-Sun with five triples...had a pair of six-game hitting streaks with both coming in the first three weeks of the season...began her college career with a six-game streak and then after going hitless in a game, followed with another six-game streak...reached base in her first 16 college games...had 17 multi-hit games including five three-hit games...had four multi-RBI games and was one of two Owls to drive in four runs in a game when she homered and drove in four runs against Northern Colorado in the KSU Invitational (4/27)...reached base in all four at-bats in the game, going 2-for-2 with two walks...was named to the KSU Invitational All-Tournament team after hitting .500 (10-for-20) with four RBI and five runs scored...reached base in her first two collegiate at-bats as she walked in her first college at-bat and then doubled in her second plate appearance off Purdue's Brooke Baker in the Owls 5-1 win (2/9)...hit her first collegiate home run against Stetson's Erica Demers (4/6)...had back-to-back multi-hit games twice...had three hits versus North Dakota State (4/27) and followed with two hits against Northern Colorado (4/27)...had two hits in both ends of a doubleheader versus Lipscomb (4/15)...stole her only base of the season against Belmont (4/13).

Prep Career
Enjoyed a successful four-year career as the starting shortstop for Central Gwinnett High School...played second base for the Georgia Titans...selected All-Gwinnett County as a senior...as captain her senior year, voted the Gwinnett County Offensive Player of the Year...four-year letterwinner in softball, basketball and tennis.
