In her first season as assistant coach at Kennesaw State in 2022, the Owls went 23-28, including 12-12 in conference play. KSU set a program record for wins to end the regular season, with seven including nine of the last 10. The Owls defeated Stetson in the ASUN tournament play-in game and earned a fourth-place finish in the conference after a 14-4 win over Jacksonville State.
On the field in 2022, third baseman Taylor Cates had one of the most prolific seasons in KSU softball history. She set KSU Division I program records for home runs (19), slugging percentage (.847) and total bases (133). Cates also earned ASUN All-Conference First Team and All-Academic honors in addition to CoSIDA Academic All-American Third Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team.
Hill spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Radford University. She specialized in offensive development and helped produce the 2021 Big South Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year, three 2021 Big South Conference first-team all-conference and one second-team all-conference accolades. Â
In 2020, she helped the team reach a 13-3 record before the season was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Radford also had six players with batting averages over .300 and two players over .400. It boasted the second-highest winning percentage in the Big South that season.  Â
The offensive firepower in 2020 was not a surprise, as the Highlanders demonstrated impressive offensive prowess in 2019, tallying 77 doubles and 41 home runs, both statistics third in the Big South.Â
Prior to Radford, Hill was an assistant coach of East Central Community College in Mississippi. She helped the Warriors to a 36-14 overall record and an appearance at the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament and they were in the top 10 of the Division II NJCAA Polls the entire season.Â

The Warriors tallied 501 hits and posted a .356 batting average as a team with 138 extra base hits, 79 doubles, 18 triples and 40 home runs. The team also had 319 RBIs as a team with 82 stolen bases.Â

Hill also had stints at the University of West Georgia and Georgia Southern University prior to East Central, where both teams tallied impressive offensive numbers.  Â
She was with Georgia Southern as an assistant coach in. 2017, where she served as the outfield and hitting coach. She coached Emily Snider, who earned a second team NFCA all-south region selection. Snider hit 16 home runs and led the team with a .387 batting average, 16 home runs and 44 RBIs.Â

Before her time at Statesboro, she was on staff for two years at West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga.? She worked with the Wolves’ outfielders and had a hand in hitting and base running instruction. After assisting with the offense in her first year, she was given control of the offense. That year, West Georgia went 33-23, 27 more wins than the previous season. The Wolves saw improvement in every offensive category with increases in batting average, more than 100 hits, 100 runs, and 100 RBIs. And in those two seasons, she helped two student-athletes earn second-team all-conference team accolades.Â
Before her collegiate coaching career, Hill was an assistant coach at Oak Grove High School as well as Petal High School, both in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She helped oversee the offense and developed the outfielders at both positions. Hill was instrumental in guiding the Oak Grove softball team to the 2013 District Championship as well as the AAAAAA South State Championship and the overall AAAAAA state crown. She also helped guide Petal HS to the district championship as well as the AAAAAA South State Championship in 2011, and the team finished as the state runner-up. Â
In her collegiate career, Hill was a standout outfielder for the University of Southern Mississippi. While with the Golden Eagles, Hill was a four-time All-Conference USA selection and earned first-team accolades as a junior in 2009 in addition to All-Midwest Region First-Team honors. Leading up to the 2010 season, she was named the Preseason Conference-USA Player of the Year after previously garnering preseason all-conference honors in both 2008 and 2009. Hill also won Conference USA Newcomer of the Year in 2007 and was also named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team that year. Â
Hill ended her career atop the Golden Eagles’ record book in multiple career offensive categories, including runs scored (148), hits (205), triples (15), home runs (41), runs batted in (151) and on base percentage (.495). She is also currently second in program history with 40 career doubles and a .675 slugging percentage. Hill is in the top-10 in multiple single season offensive categories. Â
A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Hill holds a degree in exercise science from Southern Miss in addition to a Master of Arts in teaching from the University of West Georgia.
