2009 Season 
Played in 47 and started 45 games for the Owls as a freshman.. was named to the A-Sun All Freshman Team... ended the season ranked second with a .282 batting average... was third on the team with 131 at-bats... was third on the team with 15 runs scored... was second on the team with 37 hits, was first on the team with 9 doubles... had one triple and one homerun... was tied for fourth on the team with 13 RBI... had seven multi-hit games, including three games in a row when she had three hits (Central Florida and Bethune Cookman twice)... had a season high three RBI against USC Upstate (4/24)... had an eight-game hitting streak from 4/10-4/17... on the mound made 26 appearances and owned a 6-12 record... ended the season with a 3.19 ERA... had one shutout and three complete games... in 103.0 innings had a team high 65 strikeouts... held opponents to .276 batting average.

Prep Career
Prepped at Collins High School where she played under head coach Billy Dooley... helped her team win Gwinnett County Team of the Month four years in a row... was named All-County two years in a row... pitched a perfect game her sophomore season... maintained under a 1.00 ERA... played travel ball for Elite 18 Gold.

Born Catherine Alexandria Tarvin in Atlanta, Ga... the daughter of Eleanor and Charlie Tarvin... has one brother, Charles... favorite athlete is Derek Jeter... favorite fast food is Checkers… majoring in Human Services with a focus in case management… when not playing softball she enjoys shopping, eating and sleeping.
