As a Junior (2025):
Started 32 out of 38 games over the course of the season … Recorded a base hit with a steal against Northwestern on Feb. 7 … Scored twice versus Morehead State (Feb. 14) … First career three-hit game against Creighton, knocked in two runners (Feb. 15) … Tallied three hits with three RBI against her former team, Coastal Carolina, across two games (Feb. 22-23) … Capped off her seven-game hitting streak with two versus Saint Louis – scoring as well on March 1 … Three-hit performance versus in-state rival Georgia State (April 15) … Ended the season with five hits in the three-game series against NM State (May 2-4).

Prior to KSU:
Strickland came to KSU as a decorated Coastal Carolina transfer, both academically and athletically. In high school, the three-year letterman led her team to becoming 2021 7A State Champions and 2022 State Champion Runner-Ups. She was awarded with 2021 7A All-State Honorable Mention, 2021 First Time All-County, and All-Region Team in 2021-22. Off the field, Strickland graduated as a member of the National Honor Society, 2021-22 Student Government, and 2022 FCA Leader. In addition to high school softball, Strickland played with GA Power Tunon. During her time as a Chanticleer, she was named 2023 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and the 2023 Dean's List. The outfielder finished her career at Coastal Carolina with 43 in game appearances and scored five runs.
