Lopez joins the Owls after three successful seasons at Troy University in Troy, Ala. ...led the Trojans with a 21-9 record and a 2.19 ERA in 38 appearances last season...started 32 of her 38 games while pitching nearly half (179.1 of 410.0) of the Trojan[apos]s innings...threw no-hitters against Western Kentucky (3/31) and Alabama A & M (3/21)...was the pitcher of record in Troy[apos]s last seven games (5/5-5/12), posting a 4-3 record over that span...earned a win in both games of the Trojan[apos]s double-header against Florida A&M (2/27/), starting and pitching a complete-game four-hitter in the first game before pitching 2.1 innings of one-hit relief in game two...struck out a season-high 11 batters in a 2-1 win over Florida Atlantic (4/6) on earned two saves and pitched 12 complete games including four shutouts...allowed a team-low .226 opponents[apos] batting average while giving up 60 earned runs on 152 hits...struck out 169 batters while walking 56 to post a 3.02 strikeout to walk ratio. 2006 Season (Troy University)
