2007 Season
Played in 44 games and made 42 starts at shortstop for the Owls and continues to be one of the best fielding shortstops in the conference...also had three multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games...was on fire at the plate to begin the season, hitting in five straight games...hit .462, going 6-for-13 with a home run, two doubles and five runs batted in (2/9-2/17)...drove in two runs in her first two games of the season against Purdue (2/9) and Army (2/16)...went 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in versus Ole Miss (3/2)...had a two-hit game with a double and an RBI versus North Florida (4/21)...was 2-for-6 with two runs scored and a stolen base versus Mercer (4/25)...had hits in back-to-back games against Campbell (4/7) and Belmont (4/13)...was safe in her two steal attempts. 2006 Season
Appeared in 51 of 55 games...started all of her games at shortstop...hit a career-high three home runs including one of two Kennesaw State grand slams...hit the slam during her best game of the season when she went 3-for-3 with five runs batted in against Gardner-Webb (4/8)...the game was one of six multi-hit games she had during the year...half of her multi-hit games came in Atlantic Sun Conference games was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in a 4-3 win over East Tennessee State (3/18)...was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Florida Atlantic (4/1)...went 2-for-3 against Oakland (3/4)...was 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored against Furman (3/9)...had a 2-for-4 game against Birmingham Southern (3/12)... had two three-game hitting streaks...the first coming March 5-9 against Iowa State (1-for-3) and Furman (1-for-3 and 2-for-3)...the second coming when she hit safely in two games against Lipscomb (4/20) and against Belmont (4/22)...hit her first home run of the year against Eastern Michigan (2/28)...homered and drove in three runs against Oakland at the Birmingham Southern Invitational (3/5)...stole her only base of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against Belmont (4/22). 2005 Season
Is a sure-handed shortstop with great range...moved into the starting role when Jen Nolan moved to third base...season came to a premature end when she was injured in the NCAA Division II National Championships...in her rookie year she finished sixth on the team in hitting with a .282 average...for the week of March 28 she was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week...during that week she hit .636 (7-for-11) for the Owls...she had three multiple-hit games in four outings, all against conference opponents...she hit 1.000 (5-for-5) in a doubleheader sweep of Francis Marion with a double and an RBI...she also hit a pair of doubles on the week and accounted for three runs batted in and two runs scored for an .818 slugging percentage...in 63 appearances she amassed 142 at bats with four doubles and one home run...she scored 31 runs and had 13 RBI...her slugging percentage was .331 and her on-base percentage was .309...she was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts...she started 49 of Kennesaw State[apos]s 70 games...she hit .319 with runners on base and was 5-for-10 with the bases loaded...she had six RBI in 14 opportunities with a runner on third base with less than two outs...was fourth on the team with 96 putouts...was third on the team with 99 assists...in 204 chances she made just nine errors...was 1-for-1 with two runs scored and one RBI in an 11-0 win over Southern Indiana on February 25...was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in a 8-1 win over Anderson on the first day of March...during the Owls trip to Hawai[apos]i, she went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in an 8-0 win over Chaminade...was 2-for-2 with two runs scored in another 8-0 win, this time over Anderson on March 19...was 2-for-3 with three RBI in another 8-0 victory, March 19 against Catawba ...was 2-for-3 with two RBI when the Owls beat No.-20 USC Upstate on March 24...during a 9-0 win over No. 10-ranked Francis Marion in the first game of a doubleheader, she went 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI...she continued her success against the Patriots when she went a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored in a 2-0 win...went 2-for-3 with a run scored on April 2, 2005 in a 3-1 win over conference foe UNC Pembroke...she scored two runs and had a hit in three at-bats when the Owls beat USC Aiken 10-2 on April 3...hit her fourth double of the year while going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the second game of the double header, beating USC Aiken again, this time 5-4...was 1-for-3 with when she hit her only homerun of the year, a solo shot at Citizens Park as Owls stomped the Pacers 15-2...she drove in a run and scored a run in the South Atlantic Regional win over USC Upstate 7-2. Had a successful career at Morgan County High School where she was a member of the back-to-back state championship teams of 2002 and 2003...was named the 2003-04 AA Player of the Year...was a three-time First Team All-State selection in 2003, 2002 and 2001...played in the 2004 North vs. South All-Star Game...led Morgan County in nearly every offensive category in both her junior and senior seasons.
