Finished in second at the Atlantic Sun Championships (4.75m/ 15-07.0 ft.)… Ran in the 60m dash and 200m dash.
High School
Michael was a four-year letter winner in track and field at Woodstock high school as well as lettering in wrestling and football… A storied prep pole-vaulter, Owenby won the 2012 All-County Award… He qualified for the 2012 Georgia High School State Championships in the Pole Vault… Was recognized for the “Rising Star” Award for the Pole Vault at Woodstock high.

Born Michael Owenby to Michelle and David Owenby… Has one sibling, Christian… Was honored as “Mr. Style” for the 2012 senior superlatives at Woodstock high school… Favorite professional sports team is the Baltimore Ravens… Favorite sport outside of track and field is wrestling… KSU goals are to compete at the NCAA National Championship as well as graduate with a psychology degree… Majoring in psychology.
