2009-2010 Season
Finished fourth and sixth in the 800 and 4x4, respectively at the Appalachian Indoor Track Invitational... Placed second in the 4,000 distance medley relay at the ETSU Niswonger Invitational... Set a season high in the 800 meters at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Conference Championships, finishing in 1:55.25, good enough for fourth... Started the outdoor season with a first place victory in the 4x8 relay at the CCU Invitational, finishing in 7:42.43... Finished seventh and ninth in the 800 and 4x4 relay,respectively at the Beynon Catamount Classic... Achieved his fastest 800 time of the season at the Georgia Tech 3 Way, crossing the line in 1:53.94, good enough for sixth... Finished fourth in the 800 at the Atlantic Sun Outdoor Championship.


2008-2009 Season
Finished fifth in the 800 Meters at the Atlantic Sun Conference Indoor Championships, running the event in 1:56.92...Also finished fifth in the 800 Meters at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships, with a time of 1:55.41... Finished sixth in the 800 Meters in the LSU Alumni Gold, with a time of 1:56.59... Competed in the 1500 Meters at the Seminole Twilight, finishing in 15th place and posting a time of 4:18.27.

2007-2008 Season
Set a personal best in the indoor 800m dash at the Texas Roadhouse Invitational with a time of 1:59.10... placed fifth in the 800m dash at the Indoor Conference Championships with a time of 1:57.41

Prep Career
Michael comes to Kennesaw State after running for Heritage High School...won the 800m at the Rockdale County meet while wearing a full length arm cast...he later won the 800m event at Regionals with a time of 1:59.18...also at Regionals his 4x400m team won first place with a time of 3:21.11...he also competed in 1600m for Heritage...his best time for the mile is 4:42.

Was born Michael Guntner in Fairfax, Virginia...is the son of David and Cathy Guntner...has one younger sister Emily.
