2009-2010 Season
Finished first in the 4x4 relay at the Appalachian Indoor Track Invitational... Placed fourth and ninth in the 4x4 relay and 400 meters, respectively at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational... Finished fourth in the 400 at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic, crossing the line in 49.30 seconds... Saw a fifth and sixth place finish in the 4x4 and 400 hurdles, respectively at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational... Finished second in the 400 hurdles in 53.64 seconds at the Atlantic Sun Outdoor Conference Championship.

2008-2009 Season
Was a part of three school record-setting performances in 2009...Set the indoor 400 Meter record for a time on a track bigger than 200 meters with his 49.26 second time at the A-Sun Indoor Championships, netting him a second place finish and all-conference recognition...Ran the 400 Meter Hurdles in 52.96 seconds at the Clemson Outdoor Invitational to set the school record, on his way to winning the event...Was part of the record-setting 4x400 Meter Relay squad that set the school outdoor mark at the LSU Alumni Gold, finishing the race in 3:13.39 to finish seventh...Posted two runner-up finishes at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships, in the 400 Meters (48.59) and the 400 Meter Hurdles (54.06)...Was a leg of the A-Sun Championship-winning 4x400 Relay team, helping the squad to a time of 3:14.67.

2007-2008 Season
Set a personal best record with a time of 7.17 in the 60m dash at the Clemson Opener... set a personal best in the 400m dash at the Tiger Invitational with a time of 51:31... set a KSU record in the 400m hurdles at the Alabama Relays with a time of 53.82 to finish in fourth

Prep Career
James and his team completed the 4x400 relay in 3:21.11 at the 8-4A regional meet... won the 300m hurdles with a time of 38.4 at regions...completed the 4x400m relay at the Junior Olympics in 3:13.69...selected to the First Team All Area for the 300m hurdles...MVP of the Northwest Whitfield track Invitational...team captain of the track & field during his senior year.
