2009-2010 Season
Started the indoor season with a first place finish in high jump at the Appalachian Indoor Invitational with a top height of 2.11 meters... Finished second in high jump at the Niswonger Invitational... Saw back-to-back first place finishes in the high jump at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational and Gene Anderson UNC Invitational... Nabbed his fourth Atlantic Sun All-Conference award after finishing first in high jump at the A-Sun Indoor Championships clearing 2.09 meters... Qualified for the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships and finished 17th... Finished first in high jump at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational and Georgia Tech 3-Way, clearing heights of 2.13 and 2.10 meters, respectively... Secured his third Atlantic Sun All-Conference honor with a first place finish at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships with a season high jump of 2.15 meters... Qualified for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships in high jump, finishing 22nd with at top height of 2.05 meters.
2008-2009 Season
Won the A-Sun Indoor Championship in the High Jump for the third consecutive year, clearing 1.99 meters to earn the title...Earned an NCAA provisional mark in the High Jump at the Clemson Indoor Invitational, clearing 7'0.25". Earned Atlantic Sun Conference Athlete of the Week honors for the achievement...Competed in five High Jump events during the indoor season, winning two and never finishing lower than third... Also scored for the Owls in Triple Jump at the A-Sun Championship, placing fifth with a leap of 13.53 meters.
2007-2008 Season
Named Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week by the A-Sun for his first place finish at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic... Took first in the high jump at the Indoor Conference Championships with a height of 6-08.25 ft... Tied his personal best in the high jump (6-10.75) to take first in the first outdoor meet of the season at Clemson... Took first in the high jump at the Florida Relays, posting a height of 6-10.75ft to win A-Sun Track Athlete of the Week... Posted a personal best 6-11.75 in the high jump at LSU to take second... Took first in the high jump at the outdoor Conference Championships.
2006-2007 Season
McKinzie’s first win of the year came at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Championship with a jump of 6-6.0ft...Made a NCAA Regional qualifying jump (6-10.75ft.) at the Georgia Relays...He posted jumps of 6-8.75ft. at the Clemson Relays, Spec Towns Invitational and A-Sun Outdoor Championship...Was named A-Sun high jump champion for both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons.
