Lettered for four years at Lakewood High School...Named to the All- Pinellas County team during his junior and senior year for his performances in the 100 and 200 Meters...Competed in the Florida State Championships during his sophomore, junior, and senior years, highlighted by a fifth place finish in the 100 Meters in the Class 3A Championship his senior year...Competed in the junior olympics for three years, where he achieved his personal-best time of 10.4 seconds in the 100 Meters, tying the national meet record... Also lettered in football for three years.
