Prep Career
Earned four varsity letters in track and field at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Ga…Won the 2009 Georgia Class 5-A in the 400 meters with a time of 47.43 seconds and finished fifth in the 200 meters, posting a time of 21.74 seconds…Named 2009 Atlanta Track Club Male Track Runner of the Year and Gwinnett Post Male Track Athlete of the year, and was also named Male Track Athlete of the Year by the Gwinnett County Track Coaches…Part of the 2009 Georgia Class 5A 4x400 meter relay championship squad, with a personal best split of 46.6 seconds…Holds two records in Gwinnett County; the 400 meter sprint (47.43), and as part of the record-setting 4x400 meter team (3:16.86)… Also very accomplished on the national level, finishing seventh and 11th in the 400 and 200 meters in the National Scholastic Championships, respectively…Was named to the Milesplit Elite First Team in the 400 meters and the Second Team in the 200 meters.
