Prep Career
Competed in cross country and track for Woodstock High School… Given numerous awards while competing at Woodstock including Most Valuable Runner for cross country and track, Most Improved and Most Promising Male Athlete both for cross country… Ran his best 5k time of 16:17.50 during the 2010 season at the Nike-Fleet Feet Coach Wood Invitational… Raced at the USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships, setting a personal record in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:13.31… Was named to All-County, All-Region and a state qualifier in both cross country and track… Selected as one of the five top Metro Atlanta athletes for In the Game magazine’s June 2011 issue.

Born Brett Carter in Newport News, Va. to Ed and Kathy Carter… Has one brother Justin and two dachshunds, Smokey and Bandit… Likes to eat sushi and Subway… Considers basketball his favorite sport outside of cross country and track… Majoring in Exercise Science and Health.
