As A Sophomore (2010)
Played in a total of 21 singles matches as a sophomore going 8-13 overall ... saw most of his time in the No. 3 and No. 4 singles positions posting a combined record of 8-10 in those spots ... his season highlight was when he won five of his first seven singles matches to start the season, including a win over Dayton’s Bryce Warnock at the No. 4 position 6-2, 7-5 ... posted a doubles record of 9-11 with partner Simon Janik at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots
As A Freshman (2009)
Langel gave the Owls a solid effort during his freshman season, posting a 6-9 record in singles competition, while 4-11 in doubles competition … he got his season off to a great start in 2009, winning four of his first five matches in the spring season, including a three-set victory over Campbell’s Loukas Wallaart at the No. 4 position 7-6, 2-6, 10-7 … went 3-1 at the No. 4 spot as a rookie ... named an ITA All-Academic Selection.
