2007-08 Season
Tulacz turned in one of the most impressive fall seasons in recent KSU history, climbing as high as ninth in the national rankings and maintaining a top 50 ranking for much of the fall...Earned his first All-Conference selection after being named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Conference Second Team...He led the Owls in nearly every statistical category, including scoring average (72.6), win/loss percentage (.809), events (11), and par or better rounds (15)...He also turned in the team[apos]s lowest Division I 18-hole total twice, with the first coming in second round of the USA Jaguar Invitational and the second coming in the opening round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic...His 206 54-hole total in Mobile was also a school D-I best...He finished in the top 10 in his first three events of the season, led by a third place finish at the USA Jaguar Invitational...Tulacz finished the season with eight top 20 finishes, including four top 10[apos]s...His winning percentage and scoring average were both good for the second-best season in KSU history, trailing only Kris Shepherd[apos]s 2006-07 campaign...He turned in the lowest round on the team an impressive 16 times on the season, including six rounds in the 60[apos]s.
2006-07 Season
Tulacz started all nine events for the Owls during his first season of competition with the Owls after spending most of last season trying to qualify on the PGA tour...Led the NCAA after averaging only 1.73 putts per green in regulation...Was second on the team with eight under par rounds for the year...Shot a season-low 66 at the Treasure Coast Men[apos]s Classic, where he finished 12th at -6 (71-66-70)...Finished in the top third of the field in eight of nine tournaments...Had the team-low round in 7 of the 25 rounds he played...Helped KSU to a first place finish at the Stetson/CFSC Invitational with a three-round +12, 228 (78-76-74)...Finished in the top twenty five times, including a seventh place finish at the Bradford Creek Invitational where he posted a four-under par 212 (70-75-68)...Had a season W-L percentage of 74.7...Finished the season with a 73.9, +3 scoring average...Qualified for the U.S. Amateur at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif. last summer.
2005-06
Spent a majority of the year attempting to qualify for events on the PGA Tour...Shot a 73 at the Barclay[apos]s Classic Qualifying...Was the top amateur at the Buick Championships Qualifying after firing a one-under par 71...Shot a 141 (72-69) and was selected as the first alternate at the US Amateur Qualifying.
Prior to KSU
Played his freshman season at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, N.Y. ...Selected as an NCAA Division II All-American in 2004-05...Was named to the Northeast Regional Team as well as the All-NYCAC team...Led the Spartans to a second place finish at the NCAA Northeast Regional after finishing in a tie for first with a score of 220 (+4).
