Biography
Dennis Stubblefield will be entering his second season as the Director of Golf Operations for the Kennesaw State men[apos]s and women[apos]s golf programs. This is Stubblefield[apos]s third year with the KSU golf program, having served as the assistant coach of the men[apos]s program two years ago.
Stubblefield has helped hire and welcome both of Kennesaw State[apos]s new golf coaches. He is also overseeing the Larry Nelson Collegiate Invitational which Kennesaw State will host at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Ga.
Stubblefield has years of experience with golf and golf programs. He has been an active competitor in amateur golf for many years, playing in both United States Golf Association and Georgia State Golf Association events.
He has also volunteered for the USGA at tournaments and served the GSGA as a course rater.
Stubblefield comes to Kennesaw State after recently retiring as Vice President of Marketing for an international distributor. In his 30-years of service, one of his most important accomplishments was the recruiting and training of talent to allow the company to grow from a regional to international enterprise.
He is a graduate of Georgia State University where he earned his BBA degree in Management.
Married for 37 years, both he and his wife have been strong supporters of junior golf in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Both his son and daughter competed in junior and collegiate golf.
