Joined the Owls as a sophomore after transferring from Xavier...Participated in six of KSU[apos]s events, including four of their five fall tournaments...Recorded four top 20 finishes, led by a tie for 12th at the Mizuno Southbridge Intercollegiate...Turned in a season-low 66 in the second round of the Sam Hall Intercollegiate to lead the Owls...Had six other par or better rounds, including a 68 in the second round of the USA Jaguar Invitational...Finished with a 260-154 win-loss record and a 73.7 scoring average in 18 total rounds.

Alred came to Kennesaw State after transferring from Xavier University...Played in two tournaments for the Musketeers during his freshman season playing a total of six rounds...Posted a collegiate-low 69 in the second round of the Xavier Invitational...Finished at eight-over par (75-69-80=224) at the Xavier...Recorded a +18 (82-71-81=234) finish at the Mission Inn Collegiate Invitational in his only other tournament of the season...Finished with a 76.33 scoring average in his six rounds. Played his high school golf at Etowah High School in Woodstock, Ga. where he was Golfweek[apos]s #1 rated junior golfer in the state during his senior year...Was a four time All Cherokee County and two time All-State selection ...Helped lead the Eagles to the Class AAAA state championship as a junior after placing third individually with a one-over par 72 in the final round...Finished tied for 24th at the 2006 Georgia Amateur Championship and tied for seventh at the 2005 Georgia Junior Championship.
