2011 Season
Competed in six races during his senior season… Finished in 24^th place at the GSU Invitational where he ran the 8k in a time of 27:15… At the Crimson Classic, he completed the 8k in a time of 26:26.96… Placed 28^th at the ASUN Championships where he ran the 8k in 26:19.15… Finished the season at the NCAA South Regional in 77^th place in the 10k with a time of 33:29.4.

2010 Season
Competed in five meets during the 2010 season... Started off the season with a 16th place finish at the UTC Invitational with a 5k time of 16:15... Ran his best 8k time (26:17) of the season at the A-Sun Conference Championship... Finished the 10k race at the NCAA South Region Championship in 33:35.

2009 Season
Red-shirted the 2009 season.

2008 Season
Murray Built on his strong performance his freshman year, running in all seven races and posting five finishes in the Top-20… Led all KSU runners at the RunFit Invitational in Macon, completing the 8k race in 26:07 to finish 15th overall… Also finished 15th at the Atlantic Sun Championships in Macon, second out of all KSU runners, with a time of 25:35, his best time in an 8k all season…Best finish of the season was at the JSU Invitational in Alabama, running the 5k course in 16:06 and finishing 5th, helping the Owls take home the title in that meet…Posted a 23rd place finish at the Powerade Invitational in Chattanooga, completing the race in 16:30.

2007 Season
Had a strong freshman season, including a fifth place finish at the Mercer Atlanta Invitational ... Ran a season best 27:12 at the Tiger Invitational in Auburn... Came in 13th place in the 5k at the JSU Opener, registering a time of 15:36... Ran 27:23 to take 15th place at the JSU Foothills Invite ... Completed the 8k at the Disney World Cross Country Classic in 27:12... Posted a time of 28:17 at the GSU Invitational ... Placed 32nd at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship with a time of 27:37. 

Prep Career
Steven came to Kennesaw State as an accomplished runner from East Paulding High School ... He is a two-time Paulding County Cross Country Champion ... Placed third at the Georgia Region 5 meet in 2006 ...Has received two leadership awards in cross country for his excellent sportsmanship ... His personal best for the mile is 4:36.
