KSU's top runner in 2007, Solla led the Owls in four meets ...Took second place at the Mercer-Atlanta Invitational with a time of 20:27... Finished fourth at the JSU Foothills Invite with a time of 26:03... Completed the 5k in 15:20 at the JSU Opener ... Place eighth at the GSU Invitational, recording a time of 27:24... Led the Owls at the Disney World Cross Country Classic, taking ninth place 25:44... Ran 26:11 at the Tiger Invitational in Auburn... Won All-Conference Honors with a ninth place finish at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship at Lipscomb. 

2006 Season
Solla had a successful freshman campaign, during which he competed in all seven meets for the Owls ... Selected to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team ... Led the Owls to a seven-position sweep at the 2006 Mercer Invitational with a season best time of 20:47... Finished 31st at the 2006 Crimson Classic with a time of 27:01 for the 8k run ... Came in 39th at the Auburn University Invitational with a time of 25:18 in the 8k meet... Finished eighth at the Gardner-Webb Duals with a time of 19:47... Finished 12th at the Furman Invitational with a time of 26:36 ... Posted a time of 26:48 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship for an 11th place finish. 

Prep Career
Peikko came to Kennesaw State after a successful prep career in Helsinki, Finland ... Finished seventh at the Nordic U22 Championships in 2006 ... Placed second in the 3K at the 2006 Finnish U22 Indoor Championships… Finished second in the Finnish triathlon School National Championships… Also attended high school near Florence, Italy, where he won different school championship titles in several different disciplines, including orienteering.

Was born in Tuscany, Italy ... Is the son of Antonio Romero and Anna Solla ... Has four siblings; brothers, Elfo, 25; Duende, 21; and Iaui, 15, and two sisters; Ada, 7; and Kiia, 4 ... Is majoring in International Affairs.
