Competed in varsity cross country at Escola Salesiana de Manique (Portuguese high school.)… Was named Cross Country Most Valuable Player and received an excellence award at Escola Salesiana de Manique high school... Competed at the SFRAA (Philharmonic Society of Social Support and Artistic Recreation in Armadora) National Cross Country Champion. Participated in Lisboa e Benfica and named national champions as a team… Placed third in track and field national championship for 1500 meter and 3k this past summer.
