2012 Season
Competed in six meets during his senior season… Placed 11^th at the season opener at the Belmont Invitational where he ran the 5k in a time of 15:49.10… Completed the 6k at the Auburn Invitational with a time of 19:20.7 and finished in fifth place… Had a season best finish at the UWG Wolves Cross Country Invitational where he finished third in the 8k with a time of 24:20.54… Competed at the ASUN Championships where he completed the 8k with a time of 25:01.5 and finished in seventh place.

2011 Season
Burruss competed seven times for the Black and Gold in 2011 with his best finish of third place coming at the Auburn Invitation 5K race where he finished third with a time of 19:12.70… He was named an All Atlantic Sun Conference Second Team member for his eighth place finish at the A-Sun Championship… Recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as a NCAA South All Regional performer for his 20th place finish (31:47.60) at the NCAA South Regional Championship… Finished the season with three, top-10 finishes.

2010 Season
Competed in seven meets during the 2010 season… Began the season with an eighth place finish at the UTC Invitational in Chattanooga… Ran his fastest 8k time of the season at the Greater Louisville Classic with a 25:24 finish… Was the third Owl to cross the line at the A-Sun Conference Championship to help the team to their second straight conference title, finishing 16th. 

2009 Season
Competed in eight races during his freshman campaign…Top finish came at the KSU Owl Invitational, where he finished eighth with a time of 16:59 in the four-team, 5k race…Other top-10 performance came in his collegiate debut at the JSU Struts Cross Country Opener, where he placed ninth in the 5k event in 15:10…Scored in four of the Owls’ eight races, including in his first three of the season.

Prep Career
Ran for Harrison High School in Kennesaw, where he was their number one runner for cross country and track during his senior year… Finished 17th at 2008 Georgia Class 5A State Championship, completing the 5k race in 16:46.

Personal
Born Christopher Ryan Burruss in Kennesaw, Ga...Is the son of Rodney and Lynn Burruss…Currently undecided on a major.
