Kennesaw State University Athletics

Will Odum is a freelancer for the KSU Owl Network, where he serves as a producer and graphics operator. Since 2023, he's overseen the production of more than 20 ESPN+ broadcasts, covering basketball, softball, and lacrosse games.

Odum joined Owl Network in Fall 2022 as a student intern, when Kennesaw State still independently distributed some of its sports broadcasts. During this time, he led the development of a comprehensive broadcast package-including custom theme music, branded graphics, and consistent on-air standards-that gave these productions a unique identity.

As the Owl Network transitioned to exclusively broadcasting on ESPN+, Odum shifted his focus to operating Ross Video's XPression graphics system. For more than 50 productions, he has helped bring live sports stories to life by blending real-time player stats with curated design elements. He now trains Owl Network's current graphics operators and has developed systems to maintain broadcast consistency and communicate creative vision across the team.

Odum graduated from Kennesaw State University in May 2023 with a degree in Sport Management. Outside of his continued work with the Owl Network, he has built a career in unscripted television. As a Freelance Casting Recruiter, he has scouted more than 20 emerging artists and creatives-including Owl Network on-air personalities-who have gone on to appear on ABC's American Idol, Fox's The Floor, Netflix's Building the Band, and Game Show Network's Bingo Blitz. A strategist at heart, he is passionate about expanding access in the entertainment industry by creating media that empowers talent and inspires audiences.
