Kidus Girma is a freelancer for the KSU Owl Network where he serves as a director and technical director.

Girma began his time with the Owl Network in Fall 2024. He started as a technical director, but then transitioned into directing as well and switches between the two positions. Girma aspires to be a play-by-play commentator for the NBA and hopes to become a part of Owl Network’s On-Air team to help him reach that goal. Girma even served as a color commentator once for an Emory University Women‘s Basketball game alongside fellow Owl Network worker, Matteen Rad.

Girma graduated from Kennesaw State University in May of 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Entertainment.

In April of 2025, Girma began working at Warner Bros. Discovery as a Production Assistant for TNT Sports. He still currently works there as he continues to pursue his dream of becoming a play-by-play commentator.
