Johnny Dougherty is a freelancer for the KSU Owl Network where he is a Camera Operator on ESPN+ broadcasts. Dougherty also has experience working for professional networks and sports teams around the Atlanta area. 

He began filming sporting events full time, as well as joining the Owl Network, in 2018. Most of his camera experience has been sports related, but he has also worked other live events such as Ted Talks, red carpets, talk shows, roundtable discussions, esports competitions, graduations, concerts and in-studio shows. 

Since starting in 2018, he has gained experience working with professional broadcast equipment including long lens cameras, handheld and pedestal cameras, and robo cameras. 

As well as working with the Owl Network, Johnny has network broadcast experience working with the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta United, Atlanta Hawks, NFL Network on multiple Super Bowls, MLB Network on the World Series, as well as many collegiate games with ESPN. 

Johnny continues to work professional and collegiate events as a camera operator in both the Atlanta and Southeast areas, and across the country.
