Biography

Carolyne Harris is a freelancer for the KSU Owl Network where she is a Sideline Reporter and Lead Replay Operator for the ESPN+ broadcasts. She has experience in being a Camera Operator, Technical Director, Audio Operator, Director, and Bug Operator.

Harris started her time with the Owl Network back in 2022. She shadowed the Camera position a few times but learned that she was interested in being in the control room. From here she took off on the replay machine and learned for a few months before getting her solo debut in December of 2022. Harris has even made in-game packages that have been featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10.

During her time with the Owl Network she has also assisted in creating marketing videos for social media and broadcast content. She has helped with the planning and set up for creative media days and has helped produce starting line up videos for the Owls. Along with Sideline Reporting, she has hosted two segments on the KSU Owl Nation Live, a live coaches show, and has helped in the production of those as well.

In 2023, Harris accepted an Internship with Nolan Alexander and the Owl Network for On-Air Talent. She has been a Sideline Reporter since then for KSU Women’s College Volleyball and Men and Women’s College Basketball. She has excelled in weekly interviews with athletes and coaches, produced live, in-game standups and updates, and has written multiple feature stories for the athletic department.

Since 2022, Harris has excelled in Replay and has even had the opportunity to train up other operators to give herself the ability to work other positions and learn other things. She is useful in positions like Technical Director, Audio Operator, Camera Operator and Bug Operator. In Spring of 2025, Harris directed her first ESPN+ College Softball Series.

In May of 2025, Harris graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Emerging Media.

In February of 2025, Harris accepted a job with the Atlanta Braves and BravesVision and plans to continue to pursue baseball and the MLB and also continue work for the Owl Network.
