Biography

Bryce GaubertĀ is a freelancer for the KSU Owl Network, where he serves as a play-by-play broadcaster, sideline reporter, and control room operator.

Gaubert began his journey with the Owl Network in Fall 2021 as an intern, starting behind the scenes as a control room assistant. He helped run graphics for ESPN+ broadcasts, laying the groundwork for his technical and on-air development. In spring 2022, he made his on-air debut as a play-by-play broadcaster for Kennesaw State Baseball and Softball. That fall, he expanded his on-air experience by calling games for KSU Volleyball and Women’s Basketball.

Throughout his time with the Owl Network, Gaubert has also contributed to a variety of creative marketing initiatives for social media and broadcast use. He played a key role in the planning, setup, and execution of KSU’s Football, Soccer, and Volleyball Media Days—showcasing his versatility in both content creation and production coordination.

Since Fall 2023, Gaubert has operated every position in the control room, from technical directing to audio to replay, while continuing to build his on-air portfolio. His deep understanding of live production workflows complements his broadcasting talent, making him a well-rounded media professional.

Before graduating from Kennesaw State University in May 2025 with a degree in Journalism and Emerging Media, Gaubert began working as a part-time board operator atĀ 680 The Fan, Atlanta’s premier sports radio station. He continues in that role today as he pursues a career in sports broadcasting, with the goal of becoming a play-by-play announcer at the collegiate or professional level.
