Bennett recorded 26 appearances in the circle with 11 starts...She once again, led the Owls in ERA with a 3.09, the lowest ERA since her ASUN Freshman of the Year in 2021...In her 99.2 innings of work, she racked up 74 strikeouts while allowing a team low opponent batting average of .245...Bennett also led the Owls in complete games with five...Her first complete game took place versus Princeton (March 2) as she allowed just three hits over seven innings...She sat down all but two batters versus No. 3 Georgia as she struck out three batters over her three innings...In three consecutive start versus ASUN teams, she posted at least six innings and more more than two earned runs over 22.2 innings...That stretch concluded with a complete game shutout of the Bellarmine Knights (April 13), doing so with only 77 pitches...Surpassed several major statistical milestones including: 700 innings pitched, 3,000 batters faced and appearing in the most games in program history as a pitcher (152)...She was the lone Owl to earn an ASUN Postseason award with her first career All-Academic honor

Bennett has made 34 appearances and 20 starts in the circle for KSU thus far in 2023 ... earned her 400th career strikeout against Mercer on Feb. 15 ... pitched 7.0 innings allowing zero runs and only three hits in KSU's 1-0 win over Troy on Feb. 19 ... the win earned head coach Tripp MacKay the 100th of his career and secured ASUN Pitcher of the Week honors for Bennett on Feb. 20 ... pitched all 9.0 innings in the Owls' 1-0 win over Samford on Feb. 28 with a season-high 13 strikeouts with zero earned runs and only four hits allowed ... the win over the Bulldogs marked her 50th complete game, becoming only the second Owl in KSU's Division I history to achieve the feat ... pitched 7.0 innings with one earned run and five hits allowed in KSU's 3-2 win over Austin Peay (Mar. 18) ... earned her 50th career win on Mar. 24 vs. EKU, becoming the third pitcher in KSU DI history to reach that mark ... pitched a complete game allowing only three earned runs in a win over EKU on Mar. 26 ... made her KSU DI record 83rd career start on Apr. 22 against Lipscomb in a complete-game victory for KSU with five strikeouts ... threw a complete-game against Bellarmine on Apr. 28 with 14 strikeouts and only two runs allowed in the Owls' 4-2 win ... earned her ninth game of the season allowing only two hits and zero earned runs against Bellarmine on Apr. 30 ... pitched 4.0 innings allowing one hit and zero earned runs in the season finale against FGCU.

Tossed a career-high 14 strikeouts against Bellarmine in game one of a three-game series that led the Owls to a three-game series sweep over the Knights ... Recorded wins over UCF, Auburn and Georgia Tech ... Bennett was tabbed ASUN Pitcher of the Week three times this season following her performances against Western Kentucky, UT Chattanooga, Indiana State (2/22), Tennessee, North Alabama (3/29), Georgia, FGCU and Lipscomb (4/12).
As a Freshman (2020)
Posted an incredible start to her KSU career with a team-low 1.85 ERA ... led KSU with eight wins (8-2), 13 appearances, eight starts, seven complete games, and two saves ... also led the Owls with 60.2 innings and 48 strikeouts ... walked 15 batters ... had a .229 opponents' average ... second on the team with a 1.15 WHIP ... In her debut for KSU vs Jacksonville State, she pitched five full innings, only allowing one unearned run on two hits ... whe also recorded five strikeouts in the Owl victory ... in relief, worked 5.1 innings with one hit, no walks, and three strikeouts at top-25 Auburn (2/13) ... fanned a season-high 10 batters in a complete game win vs. Marshall (2/22) ... allowed just two runs with five strikeouts at Georgia Tech (2/26) ... pitched the full seven frames in consecutive starts vs. Iowa State and Colorado State ... against the Rams, began a streak of four consecutive appearances with just one earned run allowed.
