Cristina Ribble enters her fourth year as cheerleading head coach for the Kennesaw State Department of Athletics.
In her role as cheerleading head coach, Ribble is responsible for overseeing the cheerleading program, organizing practices and public appearances, as well as overseeing the squad at all men’s and women’s home basketball games at Kennesaw State.
While at KSU, Ribble has made vast improvements to the cheerleading program, including the addition of assistant coach Sarah Erney and growth of the squad to 24 members in 2013-14, the largest in program history.
Along with her role with the Owls, Ribble also acts as a traveling student recruiter for the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Ga. She has served in that role since August of 2011.
Prior to her time at Life University, she served as the cheerleading program director, as well as the web and social media specialist at WORLD Athletic Campus in Woodstock, Ga.
Ribble previously gained coaching experience as a gymnastics coach at World of Gymnastics & Cheer in Woodstock, Ga., and at Pace All-Stars Competitive Cheer in Westminster, Calif., as well as numerous high schools and middle schools.
A December 2009 graduate of Kennesaw State where she earned her bachelor’s of science degree in communication with a concentration in media studies, Ribble was a member of the two-time national championship Kennesaw State competitive cheerleading team from 2006 to 2008.
During her time on the team, Ribble was recognized by the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) as a two-time All-American Cheerleader.
Ribble started her collegiate career at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif., where she was a member of the national championship Orange Coast College competitive cheerleading team from 2004 to 2006.
Ribble and her husband, Alex, currently reside in Acworth, Ga.
