2009
Played in all except one of the Owls' games...hit .298 against lefties, .300 against righties, and .475 as lead-off…hit .338 with runners in scoring position and .500 with runs on third with less than two outs…had .531 success advancing runners…led the team in runs scored (48), doubles (20), walks (41), games played (51), total plate appearances (260),at bats (207), assists (125) and games started (51)…was second in stolen bases (8), homeruns (7), on base percentage (.432)…was third in total bases (103), slugging percentage (.498),stolen base percentage (.800) and was fourth with 62 hits…had 17 multiple hit games and five multiple RBI games…longest hit streak was 11 games starting April 15 and ending  April 29...had one of his best games in a conference match-up with ETSU in which he went 3-for-4 with two homeruns, and four RBI…had another one of his best games in another conference matchup with Stetson, going 4-for-6 with one homerun and three RBI…hit .310 in conference play with 15 doubles, 6 homeruns and 21 RBI…ended the season batting.300 with 20 doubles, seven homeruns and 27 RBI…was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 33rd round of the 2009 MLB Draft.

2008
Started 52 games...Tied a KSU record with eight at bats in a game against USC Upstate on April 12...Had 15 multiple hits games and nine multiple RBI games...Had two doubles in a game on three occasions (2/22 vs. Samford, 3/5 at Georgia Tech, 3/25 vs. Georgia)...Hit a grand slam on April 12 against USC Upstate...Had the longest hitting streak on the team with 14 games starting April 11 and ending May 2...Had his best series against East Tennessee State in which he hit .600 (6-for-10), drove in two runs and scored twice...Tied for third on the team in batting average (.314)...Led the team with 12 doubles...Hit .322 with 38 hits, six doubles, one triple and two home runs during conference play.

2007
Played in 33 games for the Owls, 30 of which he started at second base...Recorded his first collegiate RBI against Western Carolina (2/16) with an infield ground out in his first collegiate start...Had his first collegiate hit, an RBI double, at Samford (2/25)...Finished fourth on the team in assists with 73...Went 2-for-3 and hit his first collegiate home run on the way to driving in a season-high four runs versus Charleston Southern (3/9)...Went 3-for-3 and scored two runs versus Brown (3/4)...Recorded his best conference game of the season against Stetson (3/31), going 3-for-5 and scoring twice...Had a good appearance against Alabama State on 4/24, going 2-for-4 and driving in three runs...Finished the season with a .229 batting average (22-for-96) with six doubles and 14 RBI.

Prep Career
Tyler joined the Owls after a successful prep career at Riverside Military Academy where he was a four-year Varsity letterman...Was selected to the All-State, All-County and All-Region teams three years in a row...Was also named All-Region in football...Won a National Championship with the East Cobb Astros...Set the doubles and singles record...Finished his senior season with a .400 batting average, .620 on-base and 27 career home runs.
