Michael Goss joined Kennesaw State as an Associate Director of Athletics Communications in August 2021. In his role, Goss serves as the primary communications contact for Owls' football and is the co-contact for the baseball program.
Prior to Kennesaw State, Goss spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons working in football communications. In this role, he interacted closely with media outlets and served as a communications contact for the organization. He was responsible for the college branding initiative and was also a member of the Super Bowl LIII Public Relations Staff.
In 2018, Goss spent one season working in Major League Baseball, where he served as a media relations assistant for the Atlanta Braves. He was responsible for producing statistics for baseball operations, managing the press box, and supporting external media requests.
While in college, Goss played Division I baseball at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received a bachelor's degree in communication studies in 2017. He completed his master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2019.
Goss is a native of Cartersville, Ga. and graduated from Cartersville High School.
