Kennesaw State University Athletics

Andy Turner joined the Kennesaw State Sports Medicine staff in 2024, working with KSU baseball.

Prior to Kennesaw State, Turner spent three seasons as a Minor League Athletic Trainer in the Seattle Mariners organization, most recently assigned to the Double-A Arkansas Travelers for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, where he worked closely with the team's Sports Science and Sports Performance departments on player evaluations and rehabilitation programs. He began his professional baseball career with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, serving as an Athletic Training Associate for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws during the 2022 season.

Earlier, Turner served as Head Athletic Trainer at Habersham Central High School, overseeing the program's athletic training coverage while collaborating with Habersham Medical Center's rehabilitation and orthopedic staff. He also spent a year as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Georgia College & State University, serving as primary athletic trainer for the Division II baseball program.

A graduate of Piedmont College, Turner earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2019 before completing a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance at Georgia College & State University in 2022. He is a Board of Certification-certified athletic trainer and maintains a certification as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist.
