Prior to Kennesaw State
Played two years at Young Harris College where he was named captain in his sophomore season … Threw 6.1 innings of relief to pick up the win against Truett-McConnell College in the state playoffs … Ended his career at Young Harris with a 7-2 mark and a 4.19 ERA in 75.2 IP, recording 3 saves, allowing 35 earned runs, 30 walks and 70 strikeouts … Played prep ball at Brunswick High where his team was region champions his junior and senior year … Helped his team to an appearance in the state play-offs all four years of his varsity career … Played summer ball with the Wilson Tobs in which he was 2-0 with a save while posting a 2.13 ERA in 50.2 IP, walking 15 and fanning 32.
