  • Gillis, a 6-6, 290 pound left-handed pitcher, comes to KSU from Whitewater High School.
  • Ranked as one of the top 500 players in the country, 70th best player in Georgia and the 10th rated left-handed pitcher in the state.
  • Received Perfect Game Underclass All-American Honorable Mention in 2013.
  • Collected  2014 Perfect Game Underclass All-American  High Honorable Mention.
  • Was named  2014 Under Armor Pre-Season All-American.
  • Georgia Dugout Club Top 100.
  • Selected 2014 Region 4 Class AAAAA honorable mention and all–region by the coaches.
  • Led his team to the 2014 Georgia Class 5-AAAAA state finals.
