Made 18 appearances in his first season with the Owls and started in two games…combined with his team mates for one shutout and held opponents to a .313 batting average…first win of the season came against Kent State on March 13 in which he pitched 5.1 innings of relief and allowed no earned runs and struck out two…had his longest outing of the season in a start against Southern Utah on March 21 in which he pitched 7.0 innings and gave up no earned runs and struck out six to pick up his second win of the season...earned his third win against conference opponent, Stetson a week later on March 28 in which he pitched 4.1 innings out of the bullpen and gave up only two earned runs…had a two game streak in which he allowed no hits, the first coming against the University of Georgia on April 21 and the second on April 25 against conference opponent Belmont for a total of 2.2 innings…had a three game streak in which he gave up no earned runs, starting with conference opponent Mercer, UGA and conference opponent Belmont for a total of 3.2 innings…opponents only hit .191 against him with two outs.
