2012 Summer League (6-4-3 DP / Sunbelt)
Townsend spent the summer with the 6-4-3 Cougars of the Sunbelt League inc. He played in 15 games and had 28 at-bats with six hits, one run scored, and a stolen base. Townsend finished the summer with a .217 batting average for the Cougars…Jun 25 vs Bulls, 2-for-3, and was caught stealing…Jul 24 vs Chukars, 2-for-3 with one run and an RBI…ended the summer with a .371 OBP and drew seven base-on-balls.
