2013 
Busenitz was one of the most dependable arms coming out of the bullpen in 2013, throwing 35 innings with a 3.03 ERA... During his senior season, Busenitz gave up just 32 hits and 11 earned runs while striking out 39... Picked up his first and only save of the season against USC Upstate (5/11), helping the Owls complete a sweep over the Spartans... Threw 1.1 innings against East Tennessee State (5/26) during the A-Sun Conference championship game, not allowing a run... Went three innings against SEC opponent Auburn (3/12) while striking out a season-high five batters...

2012 
Made two starts in 2012 for Kennesaw State…Feb 19 vs Virginia Tech, 4.2 innings, five hits, two runs, one base-on-balls, two strikeouts…Feb 26 vs Memphis, 5.2 innings, nine hits, six runs, two walks, eight strikeouts... Received a medical red-shirt.

Prior to Kennesaw State
Played two years at Georgia Perimeter College and helped GPC win the 2009 conference championship ... Was a First Team All-Region selection and a First Team All-District pick in 2010 ... Finished the 2010 season with a 6-1 record and a 2.67 earned run average ... Had 59 strikeouts in 57.1 innings in his sophomore season ... Finished JUCO career with eight wins ... Was a four-year letterwinner at Athens Christian School ... Was a First Team All-Northeast Georgia selection in his junior and senior seasons.
