The Kennesaw State Owl Network is looking for motivated and driven individuals that are eager to work in the sports world. The Owl Network provides Kennesaw State students with hands-on experience for an edge in a competitive marketplace. You will get your foot in the door of the sports world working in a Division I athletic department. You will have opportunities to build a professional network, work with industry-standard equipment to create tangible videos to show your future employers - all while having visibility across various Kennesaw State Athletics platforms.
The Owl Network consists of broadcast production, on-air talent, radio, creative videography, photography, and graphic design. Owl Network alumni have leveraged their experiences for exciting jobs in sports media. Multiple positions are currently available with The Owl Network. The Owl Network is your home for media coverage of the Kennesaw State Owls. Available on ESPN+, KSUOwls.com/Watch, YouTube, digital radio, SoundCloud, and more, the Owl Network brings Owl fans live and on-demand coverage of KSU Athletics.

Leadership
Nolan Alexander
Nolan Alexander was named the “Voice of the Owls” and promoted to the role of Director of Communications and Broadcasting during summer 2021, before again receiving a promotion to his current role as the Assistant Athletics Director of Communications & Broadcasting in the spring of 2022.
A veteran sportscaster, Alexander enters his fourth year with Kennesaw State and his 12th year broadcasting in the Division 1 ranks. He serves as the play-by-play voice across KSU athletics on ESPN platforms and radio broadcasts, hosts the “Inside the Nest” podcast, and provides content for KSU’s social media channels and website. In addition, he supervises the communications, video, and graphic design facets of the athletic department, and mentors students in the Owl Network internship program.
A native of Buford, Ga. and 2014 graduate of Georgia Tech, Alexander began his broadcasting career calling Georgia Tech baseball from 2011-14 on the flagship station WREK Atlanta. In 2015, won a GABBY award for best play-by-play following his third year with WDUN out of Gainesville, Ga.
Alexander started a full-time career in collegiate athletics following a season as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the Missoula Osprey. He began at Jacksonville University, where he broadcasted Dolphin contests and worked in the communications department from 2015-17.
He was named the Director of Broadcast Media at Bethune-Cookman in May 2017, where his first assignment was calling the Wildcats’ appearance in the Gainesville Regional, highlighted by BCU’s first ever win against Florida. As the “Voice of the Wildcats,” he called football, basketball, baseball and more across the CatEye Network and WELE 1380. His “Hail Mary McLeod Bethune” call was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10. He also served as the communications contact for BCU’s men’s basketball and baseball teams.
Alexander has served as a play-by-play broadcaster and host at ESPN Wide World of Sports since 2018, where he broadcasts a variety of national championship tournaments, collegiate postseason events, and hosts television shows.
Sanders Sullivan

Sanders Sullivan joined the Owl Network in October 2021 as Director of Video Services. He oversees the Production team of the Owl Network, which is responsible for Kennesaw State’s ESPN+ broadcasts, Owl Network streams, and in-venue video board content. Sullivan also assists in the ideation and creation of social media video content across all of Kennesaw State’s team accounts.
As an aspiring storyteller and creator, Sullivan serves as Producer for all football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball ESPN+ streams. Sullivan also manages and mentors a team of students who create content and develop roles for Owl Network productions.
Before his time at KSU, Sullivan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Clemson University in 2017. He spent his undergrad years interning for Clemson Athletic Video Services as a camera operator before working his way into a role as a Freelance Producer for Linear ACC Network broadcasts when the network launched.
Sullivan enjoys bringing a positive energy to the team environment Kennesaw State has to offer, telling the ever-developing story of KSU’s history and student-athletes, and continuing taking on freelance opportunities as time allows.
Brandon Bedford

Brandon Bedford has served as the Video Coordinator for the Kennesaw State University athletic department since February 2021. During this time, Bedford has worked to execute high quality TV broadcasts (from pre-production, production and post-production) for 8 different sports programs, along with the filming and editing of social media (KSU Owl Network) content shoots for each sport. Additionally, Bedford oversees the creative students and the work they do to support the promotion of the athletic program.
Prior to becoming a full-time employee with Kennesaw State, Bedford served as a student intern for the KSU Owl Network from January - March 2020. Additionally, Bedford spent time working in a similar capacity at Western Carolina University as a student from 2015-2020. Bedford graduated from Western Carolina University in May 2020 with a degree in Sports Management.
Liam Kissinger
Liam Kissinger is in his first year as the Director of Creative and Digital Media. In his role, he directs a multi-pronged team of creative innovators to use data, creativity and problem-solving expertise to provide strategic creative vision, recognize trends and develop new or emerging opportunities that will service high-value areas within Kennesaw State Athletics.
Prior to his time at Kennesaw State, Kissinger spent time working in similar capacity with Texas State University, a Sun Belt institution, in San Marcos, Texas as well as with the Fredrick Keys, a former Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
He graduated from Georgia Southern University in July of 2020 with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business administration. During his undergrad, he served as the mascot for both Georgia Southern as well as the local USL league 1 team, Tormenta FC.
Broadcasters and Reporters
Jordan Griffitt
Jordan Griffitt joined Kennesaw State as an Athletics Communications Assistant in June of 2023. In his role, Griffitt serves as the primary communications contact for Owls' women's soccer, softball and women's golf.
Griffitt returns to Kennesaw State full time after spending over a year at the ASUN Conference as an Assistant Director of Broadcast. He was responsible for creating ASUN commercials for ESPN+ as well as play-by-play and color commentary for various conference championships.
Prior to the ASUN, he interned at the KSU Owl Network until his graduation in December of 2021, receiving a bachelor's degree in journalism and emerging media. As a intern, he broadcasted numerous sporting events for Kennesaw State along with calling radio home football games post graduation.
While at Butler Comminuty College in El Dorado, Kan., Griffitt interned at the local TV station, KWCH Channel 12. He was a writer for the sports department CatchItKansas for a summer and was published for his pieces on local high school teams.
He is originally from Wichita, Kan. but currently lives in Cartersville, Ga. He graduated from Maize High School in 2016.
Bryce Gaubert
Bryce Gaubert is currently in his third year as a student at Kennesaw State pursuing his Journalism and Emerging Media Degree. Gaubert started his broadcasting career in Glenview, Illinois calling his high school hockey team's games. Now in his third year with the Owl Network, he has called games for multiple sports programs including volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse as well as being a sideline reporter for Volleyball and Basketball.
Gaubert also works behind the scenes in the control room for the Owl Network's ESPN+ broadcasts as a graphics, producer and replay operator.
Jade Barkett
Jade Barkett is in her first year with the Owl Network; however, she began her career working as a Sideline Reporter across multiple sports while attending the University of Central Florida. As an Owl, Jade picked up where she left off at UCF, working as a sideline reporter for Kennesaw State Men's and Women's Basketball. She is currently towards her Masters degree and finishing out collegiate soccer career here at KSU. After graduation, Barkett intends to continue working in broadcasting as a reporter.
Carolyne Harris
Carolyne Harris is in her second year with the Owl Network, working in front and behind the camera. Harris began her broadcasting career serving as the lead replay operator for all Kennesaw State sporting events. In her second year, Harris stepped in front of the camera for the first time as a sideline reporter for Kennesaw State Volleyball and now Women's Basketball. She is currently working towards her Journalism and Emerging Media degree and hopes to work as a reporter in the MLB.
Madison Crews
Madison Crews joined the Owl Network her junior year of college as a audio operator for the Owl Network's ESPN+ productions. Now in her second year, Crews has had experience calling games for Kennesaw State Soccer and Lacrosse as both a play-by-play and color commentator as well being a sideline reporter for volleyball and Women's Basketball. She intends to graduate with her Sport Management degree in the spring.
