***** KSU SPORTS MEDICINE STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM INFORMATION
*****

The primary function of the Kennesaw State University Sports Medicine Department is to provide comprehensive healthcare for our student-athletes that include prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries as well as emergency care during practice and games.

Although Kennesaw State University does not offer an undergraduate degree program in athletic training, student volunteers are a very important part of the Sports Medicine department.

We offer volunteer positions for students who are interested in athletic training, physical therapy, medicine, or other allied health professions.

There will be an informational meeting at the beginning of the fall semester and at the beginning of the spring semester for students interested in becoming a student volunteer. Students that volunteer are expected to commit for the entire semester.

Please see the attachments above for information about the program and how to apply.

For more information please contact Keith Mize at 470-578-2786 or jmize9@kennesaw.edu.
