Date & Location	Dates Friday May 22nd 4:00-8:00 pm Cuts will be made and posted soon after 8:00 pm Registration starts at 3:30pm Saturday May 23rd 10:00 am to 1:00pm Location: Stingray North (Kennesaw): 3126 N. Cobb Parkway Kennesaw, GA 30152
Process	Tryout is available to all current KSU Students and any student entering KSU in fall of 2020. All Medical Paperwork must be received by Faith Starkman via mail, email or fax no later than May 15, 2020. Please use the following information to turn in all medical paperwork or if you have any questions. Stingray all stars release form Kennesaw State release form KSU cheerleading application with attached headshot $20 tryout fee About the Tryout Sideline: You will be taught a game day sideline cheer during tryouts. Looking for energy, enthusiasm, and your ability to lead a crowd and look confident. Fight Song: We will teach you a fight song. Tumbling: We want to see the best skills you can safely execute and perform quickly without a spotter. We will not be spotting any tumbling skills during the tryout process. While specific skills are not required, a Standing tuck and a round off handspring layout or full is strongly encouraged. Stunting: Top girls will be asked to show their best body positions as well as a dismount of their choice. All athletes will be asked to perform their best release move(switch up, tick tock, etc.) Twisting skill ( full up, double up etc.). They also have the option on performing a inversion skill (back handspring up, Rewind, etc.) Interview: We will be having a interview process during the tryout to get to know each athlete better as a person to make sure this program is the right fit for them. What to wear: Please wear either plain Adidas brand attire or Kennesaw State University apparel. Please do not wear other universities, high school or all-star attire. Hair and makeup should be natural and no jewelry. What we are looking for We are looking for well-rounded individuals who can work hard and well with others. The focus is building up athletes to become part of a greater team. Putting the team first is very important to the success of the program.
